Shoshana Lewis the Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Transportation. She has run the Department, which is responsible for planning, construction, operations and maintenance of the state transportation system, since January 2019.  Previously, she served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Rhode Island Department of Transportation and as the Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary for Budget and Programs at the U.S. Department of Transportation, following confirmation by the U.S. Senate.  Lew served a number of prior roles in the Obama Administration and began her public policy career at the Brookings Institution’s Metropolitan Policy Program.
