WorldDenver International Women’s Day honors champions for Indigenous women: Lucille EchohawkMarch 6, 2023-Hosted by WorldDenver, Lucille Echohawk, co-founder of the Denver Indian Center and former Executive Director of the Denver Indian Family Resource Center. was honored at the International Women's Day luncheon. Lucille who also co-founded Native Americans in Philanthropy, has done extensive work to improve Indian child welfare services.

Remembering Eileen SharkeyApril 28, 2021-Eileen Sharkey passed away on April 19, 2021. She was an IWF Colorado member since 1997 and will certainly be missed. The company she co-founded, Sharkey, Howes & Javer, wrote a lovely tribute to her which can found on their Facebook page from April 21.
